One of my favorite ongoing projects is mixing sound for the television series Bison Boys. Each episode being about 20 minutes long, this makes for some very large Fairlight compositions. After multiple tracks of foley, SFX, ambience, and 7+ dialogue tracks, I sometimes end up with as many as 50 tracks altogether. Holy bison, am I right? Actually, that’s pretty normal for projects like these. At the time of writing this, we have 5 episodes up on YouTube.
